$1,999.00
SKU: HBL5344UC
4.6(5 reviews)

The Bosch HBL5344UC is the 500 Series 30-inch built-in convection wall oven, built for homeowners who want Bosch build quality at a more accessible price. The 4.6 cubic foot cavity is roomy for a standard cutout and runs genuine third-element convection for even roasting across two racks. EcoClean is a 2-hour self-clean cycle that uses high heat to burn off residue, and the optional 4-hour cycle handles heavier messes. The flush-to-cabinet design and heavy-gauge stainless trim fit cleanly into a modern kitchen. A temperature probe is built in. Recommended for everyday cooks who want Bosch reliability without the cost of the 800 Series and who don't need steam or speed modes.

Solid mid-range wall oven

Installed the Bosch HBL5344UC in our kitchen in suburban Indianapolis, IN, six months ago as a more affordable alternative to the 800 Series. The 500 Series still has genuine third-element convection for even cooking across racks and the EcoClean self-clean cycle handles heavy residue. Flush-to-cabinet design looks modern and clean. Temperature probe is included and works accurately for roasts. 4.6 cubic feet of capacity is generous for our family. Stainless finish is fingerprint-resistant but still needs a weekly microfiber wipe. Took off one star because EcoClean takes longer than a steam-clean option, but overall a solid mid-range wall oven with Bosch engineering. Recommended for budget-conscious buyers who still want Bosch quality. Two more notes from several months of daily use: EcoClean is a 2-hour self-clean cycle that burns off residue at high heat, and the optional 4-hour cycle handles baked-on messes that would otherwise require elbow grease. The flush-to-cabinet installation looks clean and modern in our kitchen. The brushed stainless trim wipes down easily with a microfiber and resists smudges. The temperature probe is precise for roasts. Bosch build quality is obvious even at the 500 Series price point. I would buy this oven again and recommend it to anyone who wants reliable European engineering without paying for premium features.

Perfect for everyday cooking

Installed the Bosch 500 Series HBL5344UC in our remodeled kitchen in suburban Kansas City, MO, three months ago. Genuine third-element convection bakes cookies and roasts evenly across two racks, and EcoClean is a 2-hour self-clean cycle that burns off residue without specialty cleaners. Flush-to-cabinet design fits cleanly into our cabinetry. Temperature probe is included and works accurately. 4.6 cubic feet of capacity handles our Thanksgiving turkey with room for a sheet pan of sides. Stainless finish hides smudges with weekly wiping. Bosch build quality is obvious even at the 500 Series price point. Excellent value for serious home cooks who do not need 800 Series premium features. Two more notes from several months of daily use: EcoClean is a 2-hour self-clean cycle that burns off residue at high heat, and the optional 4-hour cycle handles baked-on messes that would otherwise require elbow grease. Great oven for the price

Bought this Bosch 500 Series wall oven for our home outside Orlando, FL, after a remodel and we love it. The flush-to-cabinet design fits beautifully with our modern cabinets, and the genuine third-element convection bakes cookies and roasts more evenly than our old oven. EcoClean is a 2-hour self-clean cycle that burns off residue, and the heavier 4-hour cycle handles baked-on messes. Temperature probe is included and signals accurately. 4.6 cubic feet of capacity is plenty for a 22 pound turkey or multiple sheet pans. Stainless finish is fingerprint-resistant with weekly wiping. Mid-range price for genuine Bosch build quality. Would absolutely buy again and recommend to friends. Two more notes for anyone on the fence: the hidden bake element keeps the floor of the cavity smooth so spills do not get trapped under a coil, and the self-clean with steam option is far faster than the deep cycle on our old oven. We run the steam cycle about every three weeks and wipe the interior with a microfiber after cool-down. The control panel is intuitive and the small status display is bright enough to read across the kitchen. Overall this oven has earned its space in our home and I would buy it again without hesitation.

Reliable Bosch engineering

We chose the Bosch 500 Series HBL5344UC over the 800 Series for budget reasons and have been happy with the decision. The oven still has Bosch engineering DNA: heavy racks glide smoothly, the door closes solidly, and genuine third-element convection bakes evenly across two racks. EcoClean is a 2-hour self-clean cycle that uses high heat, with a 4-hour option for heavier messes. The flush-to-cabinet design looks clean in our modern kitchen in suburban Denver, CO. Temperature probe is included and accurate. 4.6 cubic feet is plenty for our family. Stainless finish wipes clean with a microfiber. Took off one star because the control panel icons take a couple of days to learn, but overall very satisfied. Bosch quality without 800 price

We picked the Bosch 500 Series HBL5344UC over the 800 Series for budget reasons and are very glad we did. The build quality is still obviously Bosch: heavy racks glide smoothly, the door closes with a satisfying solid feel, and genuine third-element convection bakes evenly across two racks. EcoClean is a 2-hour self-clean cycle that uses high heat to burn off residue, plus a 4-hour cycle for heavier messes. The flush-to-cabinet design fits cleanly into our modern kitchen in suburban Portland, OR. Temperature probe is included and works well. 4.6 cubic feet is plenty for our family of four. Stainless finish hides smudges with a weekly wipe. Great value for Bosch engineering.
